What is Ready4Growth

Ready4growth is an EU sponsored complete programme of support for entrepreneurs who are building innovative enterprises. The aim of the programme is to fast track 200 UK companies that have significant growth potential through raising the capability of entrepreneurs. The programme, which is free of charge to qualifying companies, consists of three elements, a 2-day intensive workshop, a comprehensive reference manual and an online virtual knowledge centre.

Workshops

A key feature of Ready4growth is that the whole workshop is delivered by real industry experts - with specialist knowledge of growing a successful business. Experienced professionals from leading Accounting, Legal, HR, Marketing, PR, Sales and Business Planning organisations provide practical guidance on critical growth issues.
Participants in the 2-day intensive workshops will have the opportunity for direct interaction with investors, including representatives from Business Angels Networks, NESTA, Seed VC Funds, Regional VC Funds, Technology VC funds and banks specialising in small firms loans. Delegates also gain first hand experience from successful entrepreneurs, engage in debates with expert panels on funding issues and have the opportunity to speak to professional investors one-on-one.

The New r4g Entrepreneurs Handbook

As part of this overall programme SMEs are provided with four comprehensive reference manuals covering all aspects of Planning, Building, Selling and Funding your enterprise. The information in each of these manuals has been specially researched to reflect the business needs of innovating companies and the challenges you face in growing your company and accessing finance, offering unique inputs from key professional experts.

Online Support and Expertise

The Virtual Knowledge Centre is available to all companies who participate in the r4g programme.
Free On-line Ask the Expert - As a participant in the r4g programme you will have the opportunity to get direct access to the 'expert' professionals that deliver the programme. Ask questions on any subject relating to growing your business. Simply key in your question and obtain advice via an e-mailed response from our panel of accountants, solicitors, business planners, banks, angels and VCs.
